The Breaking News: Adding a custom background

You can set a custom background color on your site, as a result, the layout of the site container will be changed from a full-screen to a boxed layout.

  1. Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Colors.
  2. Under the Background Color label, select a color via the color picker.
  3. Click Publish to save the settings.

Alternatively, you can set a background image. Once a custom background image is selected, you will be able to configure in detail how the image is displayed.

  1. Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Background Image.
  2. Under the Background Image label, select and upload your image.
  3. Click Publish to save the settings.
