Adding a Site Logo

By default, most WordPress themes display the site title and tagline in the header area. Since WordPress 4.5, it supports a Custom Logo functionality that allows you to set your own logo using the Customizer (Appearance → Customize).

Adding your custom Logo

  1. Go to the Customizer and click on the Site Identity section.
  2. In that section, click the Select Logo button to open the Media Manager.
  3. Choose your logo image, and click the Select button.
  4. Click the Publish button at the top right of the Customizer to activate the logo on your website.

Changing or Removing your Logo

Once your logo is set, you can change or remove it using the Remove and Change Logo buttons. When you’re done, be sure to click the Publish button at the top right to save your logo settings.

Hiding the Site Title and Tagline

By default, your logo will be shown above the site title. You can easily hide the site title and tagline after you've uploaded the logo image by unchecking the Display Site Title and Tagline box.
